Printing a Smart Fortwo - part two
Our even smaller version of a small car is ready
You probably have already read about the printing part of the story, but if you haven't, you can read it here. We printed the wheels since then, but forgot to take pictures. Sorry.
This is the Smart side of the force. As you can see on the picture there is a roof window painted on, because our real car has a roof window too. And of course it is black too - so this is an as close model of our own car as we could manage.
The paint itself was simple, but took a lot of time.
The printed version is about 8.5cm long - comparing that to the real one's length, which is 250cm, we got the result that our model is about 1:30 scale.
