Printing in white
We tried the cursed white filamentThis is the plastic which is used as a source for the printRead more again - with a half success
After we had figured out the reason of our struggling with the filament, we tried again the white filament. We had been fighting with it for weeks without any success, so we were a little bit afraid to try it again, but it would be a big waste to throw out almost a full roll of filament.
It turned out the white filamentThis is the plastic which is used as a source for the printRead more needs a little bit warmer hotend, then the usual gold one. In the end it seems the motor with the correct voltage (see our previous article) easily pushes the white filamentThis is the plastic which is used as a source for the printRead more and can print beautifully.
So what are those failures on the picture? Well, the curse of the white filamentThis is the plastic which is used as a source for the printRead more is still alive. First, we accidentally sent the printing computer to sleep, so the printing halted... On second try it seems the roll had a knot, which has caused the filamentThis is the plastic which is used as a source for the printRead more to stuck. But this time the culprit was not the weak motor, fortunately.
